Our History

Founded in 1976 by Mr. Clarence Kirksey, Kirksey Machine Company was born out of a need for quick solutions and rapid product turnaround for customers in the Gulf Coast area. With many years of experience in the valve business, Mr. Kirksey established the company on the solid principles of hard work, honesty, and integrity—values that continue to guide us today.

Our Growth

 

Initially located at 3517 Pinemont, Kirksey Machine started in a modest 1,800 square feet space focused on machining fittings and flanges. By 1985, we had expanded our services to include trim changes and other internal valve modifications for the refining, chemical, and petrochemical plants in the Gulf Coast area. Our growth continued through several expansions in 1990, 1993, 1997, and 2004, reaching over 25,000 square feet by 2011.

Kirksey Machine operates out of a 45,000 square-foot facility, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery.

In 2015, we moved to our current location at 8721 Clay Road, increasing our facility size to over 45,000 square feet. This new space, equipped with 10 overhead cranes ranging from 1 ton to 10 tons, allowed us to add more machinery, welding equipment, testing equipment, and personnel, enhancing our ability to provide fast, quality service to our customers.

Our forthcoming software update in August will make all processes traceable online, enhancing transparency and accountability. Customers will soon be able to scan and track their orders, reflecting our commitment to precision and excellence.
